Term Dates
School term dates are set by Luton Borough Council and used by all schools across the town. Each school is then responsible for allocating its own staff training days within these term dates. Term dates and staff training days are detailed below.
Term Dates 2022 – 2023
Summer – Second Half Term 2023
Staff Training Days (ACE closed to pupils): Friday 23rd June 2023
Start Date: Monday 5th June 2023
End Date (Inclusive): Friday 21st July 2023
Summer Holidays (ACE Closed): Monday 24th July 2023 to Thursday 31st August 2023
Term Dates 2023 – 2024
The term dates for academic year 2023/24 have been agreed by the Council’s Executive at Luton Borough Council following consultation with headteachers of all schools and academies in Luton and the Trade Unions.
Avenue Centre for Education Management Committee will set five staff training days and therefore the start and finish dates may change. Please only use the following term dates as a guidance for the school holiday periods.
